"Will the wind ever remember the names it has blown in the past? And with its crutch, its old age, and its wisdom, it whispers no, this will be the last."--Jimi Hendrix, 1942-1970
"Aeolus's Weathervane" (2013)
Copper/beryllium/silver alloy; 24" length
In the collection of Michael Ryan, Esq, Cortlandt Manor, New York.
(Notes: In Greek mythology, Aeolus was the ruler of the winds. This weathervane has some nice gothic lines with lots of my trademark razor-sharp spines,
shards, and filigrees that will punish even the most wicked north wind. And the wind cries. . . Mary.)
